Travelling to the UK - Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)

An Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is a new requirement for

people who do not need a visa to come to the UK. An ETA will cost

£10 per applicant and lasts for 2 years, it permits multiple visits to the

UK within these 2 years. To apply you can use the UK ETA app or apply

online on GOV.UK

You’ll need an ETA to:

• come to the UK for up to 6 months for tourism, visiting

family and friends, business or short-term study

• come to the UK for up to 3 months on the Creative Worker

visa concession

• transit through a UK airport if you pass through border control
